How much is the application fee? For individual sellers and non-licensed agents: PHP 199 For licensed agents (real estate, insurance, securities, and manpower): Php 799 For registered companies: PHP 999 for Standard Verification level, or PHP 2,999 for Secured Verification
All applicants will receive a digital downloadable SellerID Badge that they can insert in product photos and post in their websites and social media.
Optionally, applicants can order physical, printed SellerID Badges. One set will cost PHP 599 with free shipping nationwide. Corporate customers availing of the Video Call Verification level get this for free.
How do I pay the application fee? Instructions for payment will vary depending on the method of payment you select in the application form.
You will not be charged until processing of your application has been complete and your Badges are for releasing. Our agents will contact you with specific instructions on how to pay.
We accept payments via bank transfer to BPI or UnionBank, GCash, GrabPay, PayMaya, Coins.ph, cash over-the-counter deposit (at 7-Eleven, M Lhuillier, and Cebuana Lhuillier), and credit or debit card via PayPal, and cheques mailed to our office.
What is the difference between Standard and Secured Verification? With Standard Verification, the company owner or corporate secretary will take a selfie with the company's inventory, offices, or facilities.
With Secured Verification, the company owner or corporate secretary will go on an on-camera video call via Zoom and give a live tour of the company's inventory and facilities. The video will be recorded and stored in a secure file storage service in Singapore managed by Microsoft Azure. This is our highest level of verification for maximum trust.
Please note that Secured Verification is only available for corporate customers (registered sole props, partnerships, corporations, OPCs, and cooperatives).
Can I save my application and continue later? Unfortunately, no. Please ensure you have all your documentary requirements on-hand before proceeding with the application form.
Can a representative do the application? For agents and individual sellers, no. For registered companies, yes.
Can I amend or change my SellerID Profile? Yes. However, we will be charging a PHP 499 fee for every request for amendment, and will take several business days to process. We highly encourage applicants to thoroughly check their application to prevent delays and mistakes.
What is a SellerID Profile and what data will be released to the public? Your SellerID Profile is a webpage that contains certain information about you and your business. This page can be accessed by anybody by scanning the QR code on your SellerID badge, or by inputting the SellerID Number on our Validity Check tool.
Your SellerID Profile will contain the following information, *where applicable: - Initials of applicant (ex: JMD DE LA CRUZ)* - Validity and expiry of SellerID Registration - Brand name* - Company name* - Name of principal company* - License number* - Address and Contact Details (only for companies) - Description of products and services - Links to your official accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Carousell, Shopee, Lazada, etc.) - Link to your personal Facebook profile (ONLY if you want to; You can tell us to NOT to display this in the application form)

What is the validity of my SellerID? SellerID registration is valid for one year.
Can I transfer ownership of my SellerID? Yes; However, the new owner must perform the SellerID application process again (including payment of application fee).
Can I request a Certified True Copy of my SellerID? Your digital SellerID badges are already certified true copies of your SellerID registration. SellerID provides a mechanism for anyone to check if your badges are legitimate: Scanning the QR code on your SellerID Badges, or entering your SellerID Number at the SellerID Validity Check tool.

What does SellerID do for me as a consumer? SellerID serves as a marketplace trust service provider, so consequently we are strong consumer rights and protection advocates. We ensure businesses stay fair, truthful, and accountable online in their sales and marketing. SellerID provides consumers a safe space to report marketplace disputes, fraud, and other dishonest business practices, so the issue can be settled fairly and in a transparent method.
How much does it cost to make a complaint? It's free to file a complaint.
Can I report a business or scam even if it isn’t SellerID registered? Yes, you can still file a complaint. However, we cannot guarantee immediate action or dispute settlement.
How do you protect my privacy rights and personal information? SellerID employs National Privacy Commission registered Data Privacy Officers, as well as provides a clear and transparent Privacy and Data Use Policy. We also provide the option to remain anonymous when filing a complaint on a business or reporting a scam business. SellerID provides strong guarantees to always put trust and integrity above all else.
Notice to the Public: If a business has been accredited by the SellerID, it means SellerID has determined that the business meets accreditation standards, which include a commitment to make a good faith effort to resolve any consumer complaints. SellerID Accreditation Standards represent standards for business accreditation by SellerID. Businesses based in the Philippines that are bound to Philippine Law that meet these standards and complete all application procedures will be accredited by SellerID. The SellerID Accreditation Standards are built on the SellerID Standards for Trust, eight principles that summarize important elements of creating and maintaining trust in business. SellerID accreditation does not mean that the business’s products or services have been evaluated or endorsed by SellerID, or that SellerID has made a determination as to the business’ product quality or competency in performing services. Businesses are under no obligation to seek SellerID accreditation, and some businesses are not accredited because they have not sought SellerID accreditation.
